When a player declares a loner, a defender can match the bet and go alone against them. Win all five tricks and your team scores four. High stakes, pure Euchre.
Canadian Loner
If you order up your partner's deal, you have to go alone. No hiding behind a partner when you called it yourself.
Partner's Best
Before sitting out a loner, the loner's partner passes their best card. Gives the lone player one extra weapon. Some families swear by it.
