Gameplay

Marty is an AI coach built into every game. Open the Marty panel during a hand and ask him anything: what to bid, why a card was played, what a rule means. He reads the current game state and responds based on what is actually happening at your table. Free accounts get 20 questions per day. Premium accounts get 1,000.

Euchre Mate supports six house rules: Stick the Dealer, Farmer's Hand (No Ace No Face), Win by Two, Defender Goes Alone, Canadian Loner, and Partner's Best. Stick the Dealer, Farmer's Hand, and Win by Two are free for everyone. Defender Goes Alone, Canadian Loner, and Partner's Best require a Premium membership. In multiplayer, a premium host sets the rules for the whole table.

No. Marty teaches as you go. Ask him anything mid-hand and he will explain it in plain language. The Learn page also covers everything from the basics to house rules before you sit down.

Euchre is a 4-player game. In single-player mode, Marty's AI partners fill the other three seats so you can play any time. In multiplayer, you need 4 human players or a mix of humans and AI fill-ins.

The two Jacks are the most powerful cards in Euchre. The Jack of the trump suit is the right bower, the highest card in the game. The Jack of the other suit of the same color is the left bower, the second highest card, and it counts as trump for that hand. The Learn page has a full explanation with examples.
